Privacy Policy
Effective date: 15 April 2026. Last updated: 15 April 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how StartBuilds (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the website startbuilds.com (the “Site”) and the professional services we offer (for example, websites, MVPs, mobile apps, AI code rescue, and related delivery work). This notice is for general information and is not legal advice. You should consult a qualified attorney for advice specific to your situation or jurisdiction.
1. Who we are
StartBuilds operates the Site as a development and growth partner for founders and businesses. For privacy questions related to this Policy, you can reach us by booking a call through our scheduling link: cal.com/naveenforhire/15min.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you contact us, book a call, or work with us on a project, you may provide information such as your name, email address, company name, project details, billing details, and files or materials needed to deliver the work (for example, design references, credentials for deployment in line with your instructions, or access to repositories).
2.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, hosting and infrastructure providers may log technical data when you use the Site, such as IP address, browser type, device type, general location derived from IP, referring URLs, and timestamps. We do not operate a logged-in user account system on the Site as described in our current public Site experience.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
Your browser may store cookies or local data as part of normal website operation or as set by third-party services we link to (for example, when you visit our scheduling provider). We do not use the Site to run third-party advertising analytics in production as part of the current implementation.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- Respond to inquiries and schedule calls;
- Deliver professional services, including scoping, development, deployment, and handover;
- Provide or facilitate related offerings described on the Site (for example, assistance with Google Search Console setup or access to SEO tooling such as GetRankBamboo where included in an engagement);
- Send administrative messages, invoices, and project updates;
- Protect security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Client and project materials
If you engage us for services, we may process project data you share with us solely to perform the work you request, communicate about the engagement, and meet contractual and legal obligations. We treat confidential business and technical information with care appropriate to a professional services relationship. Retention depends on the nature of the engagement, legal requirements, and legitimate business needs (for example, contracts, invoices, and deliverable handover records).
5. Third-party services
We use service providers to run the Site and our business. For example, call scheduling is handled through Cal.com, which collects information you submit when booking under its own terms and privacy policy. Hosting and deployment providers (for example, typical cloud or edge hosting for a modern web application) may process technical logs as described above. Outbound links on the Site (such as social profiles) are provided for convenience; those sites govern their own data practices.
6. Legal bases (where applicable)
If laws such as the UK or EU GDPR apply, we may rely on bases such as contract performance, legitimate interests (for example, operating the Site and securing our services), and consent where required. You may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the scheduling link above; we may need to verify your request.
7. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we post an update. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
