TriggerForm: form automation SaaS
Capture submissions from existing site forms and trigger webhooks, emails, and backend automations — no form rebuild required.
This case study covers how we built TriggerForm so marketers could automate the forms already on their site.

The problem
Marketing sites already had forms. Replacing them meant design rework, CMS changes, and broken analytics. Teams needed automation on top of what existed.
The solution
A lightweight embed detects and forwards form submissions to TriggerForm, where users configure webhook and email actions, role-based access, and a real-time submission management panel.
What we built
- →Next.js 14 app with auth and role-based access
- →Custom embed script to detect and submit form data from any site
- →Supabase-backed storage and server functions for trigger actions
- →Webhook and email automation on new submissions
- →Real-time submission logging and admin UI
- →OpenAI-assisted workflow helpers where applicable
Outcomes
- ✓Install automation without replacing existing forms
- ✓Central panel for every submission and trigger status
- ✓Team-ready access control for agencies and operators
How it shipped
The constraint was the existing form. Marketing had already designed it, tagged it, and taught the team to use it. TriggerForm sits beside that form. A small embed reads the submit and forwards the fields. Webhooks and email run from a panel the operator controls, with roles so an agency can see a client account without sharing one login.
The 15-day cut included auth, the log of submissions, and the trigger actions. OpenAI helpers are optional on a workflow, not a layer the form depends on. The site owner keeps their CMS. TriggerForm only owns the forwarding and the actions that follow a submit.
